Why are Indians applying for Portugal Visa Golden Visa

According to SEF, Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (Service for Foreigners and Borders), 10,442 visas have been issued, and 17,426 family members have benefited from the creation of the Portugal Golden Visa program in 2012. In 2020, the foreign population living in Portugal increased for the fifth consecutive year, growing 12.2% over 2019. This growth resulted in a total of 662,095 foreign residents.

The number of Indian investors has increased considerably in the last few months. The country has made the list of the top 5 nationalities to receive the Portugal Golden Visa in January and February 2022.
